Please note that the following policy updates have been put in place effective as of this Sunday's IPSCNB executive meeting:
- Sanctioning fees have been capped at a maximum of $500.
- All Black Badge Instructors, including current and future, will now be required to obtain a background check with a vulnerable sector check from the RCMP to be presented upon membership renewal or before teaching a Black Badge course (whichever occurs first).
- Match Directors must now use practiscore for sanctioned matches.

There will be a CRO class on March 2-3 in Miramichi.
There will be an RO class on April 20-21 in Miramichi.
(Cost for these classes is paid for by IPSC NB.)

How do I become an NROI Range Officer?
- You must be a current member of IPSC.
- You must be a member for at least one year.
- You must compete in at least three Level II matches.
- You must successfully complete a Level I NROI Range Officer seminar. Which included 6 closed book exams and one open book take home exam.
- You must earn three (3) supervised Match Points (work under the direction of a certified IPSC Range Officer).
How do I become an NROI Chief Range Officer?
- Must be a current member of IPSC.
- Must be a certified IPSC Range Officer.
- Must be recommended in writing by a certified Chief Range Officer or Regional Director.
- Must have a minimum of 28 (total accumulated) match points.
- Attend a weekend seminar.
- Pass two closed book exams.
- Submit three stages for review during the course. Short, Medium and Long.

Announcements:
Open Provincial Match was held August 19th. George McKillop is the provincial champ in Open division.
Production and standard provincials were held on August 26 & 27.
Matt Lirette is the provincial champion for Production division.
Trevor Furlotte is the provincial champion for Standard division.
No provincial champion for Classic.
Reminder:
Revolver Provincials will be held October 15 at Fundy Shooting Sports in Saint John.

Good day everyone.
Hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas and on behalf of the executive of IPSC NB, we wish everyone good health and happiness in the coming New Year...and your best shooting season yet!
